Mascarpone, pear tart
A very special and delicious tart with fresh poached pear baked in a homemade sweet pastry shell with a mascarpone and ground almond cream finished with chopped hazelnuts and an apricot glaze.
This tart makes a lovely dessert and goes really well with fresh cream and ice cream.
A single tart is 22cm. diam.
Ingredients: Fresh pears, ground almonds (nuts), mascarpone cheese (milk), cardamom seeds, golden caster sugar, double cream (milk) , hazelnuts, apricot jam, plain flour (wheat), unsalted butter (milk), free range eggs and vanilla extract
