Macaroni cheese is a firm favourite in our house. This version is lovely and creamy and full of flavour with crispy fried smoked pancetta and fresh thyme. It has the right balance of macaroni and cheese sauce and is topped with freshly grated parmesan which turns golden brown and crispy in the oven when baked.
The macaroni used is made with 100% durum wheat. The pasta is extruded through traditional ‘bronze dies’ creating a textured pasta with a rough surface, allowing sauces to stick for a fuller flavour.
Instructions provided for re-heating.
Pancetta can be omitted on request.
Small servings is for 2 people – 700gms
Medium serving is for 4 people – 1400gms
Large serving is for 6 people – 2100gms
