Olives, sun dried tomatoes, cheese
A mix of various (de-stoned) olives, including lovely black Kalamata olives and big juicy green olives with sun dried tomatoes. Smooth goats cheese and mozzarella all mixed together in extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with dried oregano. A sprinkle of dried chilli can be added for a bit of heat.
The Italian name for this is Intruglio which is a Tuscan word meaning brew or concoction although this dish has a Greek feel with the Kalamata olives and oregano.
This is delicious as an appetizer served with some ciabatta bread, or any bread really. It is also fantastic with grilled tuna and a green salad or served over pasta.
